About

Alexis Cole is a 21-year-old woman who aims to represent Christ and encourage others to seek God wholeheartedly. Born and raised in the church, Alexis made the commitment to follow Jesus during her high school years. The trials and pressure of living for God in high school gave Alexis the motivation to write, “So, You’re Living for Christ in High School?” during her senior year. Her hope was that the book would encourage other young disciples to keep pursuing God even when it’s hard, and to know that they are not alone. This book opened the door for Alexis to begin preaching at churches, youth groups, and conferences.

In 2019, Alexis enrolled in Lipscomb University where she earned her B.A. in Theology & Ministry. Over the course of her college career, she was given multiple opportunities to lead and preach to her peers; including Lipscomb’s campus-wide chapel and New Student Orientation Worship Night. During her final semester at university, Alexis received awards such as: Stone-Campbell Journal Promising Scholar Award (2022 Most Promising Biblical Scholar), Goodpasture Bible Award (2022 Most Promising Preacher), and 2022 Miss Lipscomb University.

Alexis currently attends Lipscomb’s Hazelip School of Theology with the goal of earning her Master of Divinity. She also intends to continue to encouraging others to follow Christ through her YouTube page, social media, future books, and in other spaces she is given the opportunity to reside.
